Eat Seasonal.
Eat Local. Eat Healthy. Eat Seasonal.
Seasonal was born out of our love for food, nature, and the farms that nourish us all
We wanted a better way to buy food directly from those who grow it, while supporting the critical work that they do. But the current experience left a lot to be desired.
Seasonal partners with farms who are doing it right, growing food in a way that is aligned with human and planetary health. As a result, their produce is the best you can get: fresh, nutritious, picked at peak ripeness and flavor.
Seasonal helps you eat what is in season, grown locally, by farmers who truly care. We make it easy and enjoyable to eat a healthy, diverse diet, straight from the fields to your fork.
Seasonal is a local food platform purpose-built for the modern age. We empower farms and communities to come together, building safer, more resilient food systems.
We’re building upon the traditional farm share/community supported agriculture model to supercharge local food systems, making it easier than ever for you to eat local, healthy, seasonal diets and connect with others who care about food.
Seasonal is currently in a beta testing phase, with plans for a full-season launch in 2026. If you would like to support our work and stay in the loop, please sign up for our waitlist below.
Meet Our Farm Partners
Fairgrown Farms
Fairgrown Farm began with two brothers, a dog, and a willingness to learn. In 2016, James and Alex Klett started farming without formal experience, just a vision for growing good food and the determination to succeed.
In 2022, the Klett brothers approached the Watershed Institute about renting the farm on their property, thus expanding their fields and their impact. Since then, Fairgrown has strengthened local food systems through its collaborative network of trusted partner farms across New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania. The result is a steady supply of high-quality produce, supported by farmer-to-farmer connections.
Their guiding principle is simple: Fair to our team. Fair to our land. Fair to our community.
By combining produce from their own farm with crops from partner farms, Fairgrown offers a diverse, thoughtfully grown selection of local food all year round.
You’ll be able to find Fairgrown Farm on the Seasonal app — making it easier than ever to support their work and bring their collaborative harvest into your kitchen.
Norwich Meadows Farm
Norwich Meadows Farm began with an acre and a half behind a family home in Norwich, New York — and a simple idea: grow food the way it’s meant to taste.
From the beginning, their commitment has been to tayyib — food that is pure, ethically grown, and genuinely good. Certified organic and rooted in deep stewardship, Norwich Meadows combines careful soil management, season-extending high tunnels, and ongoing collaboration with plant breeders to grow distinctive varieties chosen for flavor, nutrition, and resilience in the Northeast.
They believe transparency builds trust. They believe farming is a responsibility to workers, neighbors, and future generations. And they believe that innovation and tradition can — and should — work together.
You’ll find them on our platform this summer season, anchoring a community that values food with integrity. What started as a backyard plot has become one of the region’s most respected organic farms — still guided by the same purpose: grow exceptional food, care for the land, and share it with the people around them.
Oregon Road Organics
Oregon Road Organics was founded with a clear purpose: protect farmland and grow something that truly matters.
On the North Fork — once dominated by potato farms and now increasingly shaped by development — this family-owned farm in Cutchogue is helping preserve the region’s agricultural roots while building its future. Their focus is simple: grow exceptional organic vegetables that are good for both people and the land.
Rooted in sustainability and community, Oregon Road Organics cultivates fresh, flavorful produce using certified organic practices that protect soil health and promote long-term resilience. Every harvest reflects a deep respect for the North Fork’s farming heritage — and a belief that local food systems are worth protecting.
You’ll find Oregon Road Organics on the Seasonal app, making it easy to bring their North Fork harvest straight to your table.
FAQ’s
How does Seasonal work?
Seasonal works with local farms and growing cooperatives, letting anyone own a share of the harvest each season. We make it easier and more enjoyable to eat with the seasons, providing custom recipes, meal kits, and curated local products that turn a bag of veggies into an unforgettable centerpiece of your week. Members commit to a farm for the season and use Seasonal’s flexible interface to easily manage their share — skipping, substituting, and adding on when you need to, so that every meal becomes an enriching and meaningful eating experience.
What does it mean to ‘invest in a farm’ with Seasonal?
As a Seasonal member, you get to invest directly in a local farm and your local food community. By paying upfront for the season’s bounty, you are securing your own food source for the rest of the year. You’re also spending your dollar with a real farm owned by real people — not some faceless corporation owned by billionaires. When you invest in a farm, you go from being a customer to being a stakeholder, meaning that you are a partner in your own food choices, with more control and assurance that you are feeding yourself and your family real food — free from harmful chemicals and additives.
Aside from fresh local food, what do Seasonal members get?
Seasonal is committed to more than just getting members the best possible food to nourish their bodies. We also incorporate useful and interesting educational content to help you make the most of your farm share at home, so you can grow along with the seasons. Members also get exclusive access to community events focused on celebrating our mutual commitment to supporting our local food systems, and each other.
What is a ‘farm share’?
The farm share (also known as community supported agriculture, or CSA) is a business model that connects people and communities directly with the farms that nourish them. Farm shares are a more equitable, just, and mutually beneficial way to buy local and eat well, while supporting your community, your local farms, and the planet.
How is Seasonal different from a traditional farm share?
Traditional farm shares are great (we truly love them), but the model has not evolved to keep up with the needs of modern living. With busy schedules and varying needs, the traditional model doesn’t fit neatly into the daily life of most eaters today. At Seasonal, we are building intelligent technologies that improve — not supersede — the direct farm membership experience. Now anyone can commit to support a local farm and take control of their food choices in a way that works for them, without the hassle.
How can I sign up?
